We do not open and verify that artwork is correct
until a Purchase Order is received. If the artwork is not prepared using
the following guidelines, it could cause delays in your order!
Our prices do not include labor for graphic design
and/or artwork creation and assume your artwork is in an acceptable format (See
Digital Prepress Checklist below). If you need graphic design and/or artwork services,
please contact your local distributor for a quote.
NOTE: Corrections and/or changes to artwork will be
billed an additional $50 per half hour. (Exceptions include; Holiday CDs and School CD/DVD projects.)
Standard proofs are provided in a PDF format at no
charge. Digital color proofs are available at an extra charge. Please
inquire.
QUICK CHECKLIST:
Warning: Different print houses use different artwork specifications. Do not
use templates from another company to layout your design.
- Use the artwork templates provided on this website!!!!
- All artwork must be 300 dpi or higher. Flattened images/most JPGs are 72dpi and
will severely affect the quality of your finished disc. Please provide TIF or
EPS format OR JPGs at least 300 dpi and no higher than 812 dpi.
- Send your artwork in EPS or AI (Adobe Illustrator) format if you are
preparing it yourself. We require that all files be PC/IBM compatible. We do
NOT have the capability to open MAC files.
- Do not flatten templates or die lines within your file.
Add all artwork to NEW layers - DO NOT
add your artwork to the same layer that
the template die lines are on.
- Convert all fonts to outlines (paths).
- Delete all unused colors and stray paths in your files.
- Save file with colors as CMYK (Digital or Offset) or PMS (Silk Screen), not a mixture of the two.
- Be sure to use the exact measurements
from Link2Pro Templates. Extend image
(Bleed) .125" beyond trim on CD/DVD and
Packaging templates.
- Send a proof in pdf format with your file for reference.

initiative is designed to help manufacturing
plants establish procedures to reduce the risk
of publishing pirated material.
IRMA's
Anti-Piracy Compliance Program is modeled after
the ISO 9000 Program, which is a series of
generic international standards for quality
management and quality assurance. Unlike ISO
9000, however, the IRMA Anti-Piracy Compliance
Program contains specific guidelines for the
optical media industry regarding anti-piracy.
Through internal audits and regularly scheduled
surveillance audits, the IRMA Anti-Piracy
Compliance Program is able to uphold the
standards for self-regulation required by

Digital Prepress Checklist
In order to offer the lowest possible price,
we do not budget labor time in a job to check
and repair files. Therefore, when we receive
an order we assume all art files are Print
Ready and all content is ready for Mastering
for the duplication/replication process. Please check your files carefully as
we will not be held responsible for errors
when files are not submitted in exact
accordance with our specifications. Even a
slight difference between our requirements
and your file(s) may cause a delay and
is subject to rejection. Please be exact
when preparing your files.

Include your name and phone number on
your discs or in your emails. |

Provide all linked high resolution
files. We cannot manipulate embedded
images. |

All artwork for CD Face Art should be
provided in an EPS format (or an
Illustrator or Photoshop compatible
format) at a
minimum of 300 dpi (up to 800 dpi
accepted). |

Artwork should be created with CMYK
colors for Digital/Offset printing and PMS
